The trailer of Thanal showcased a high-voltage clash: Atharvaa as a newly inducted cop vs Ashwin Kakumanu as an ex-soldier turned criminal. Trailer released ahead of the film’s September opening. 

The OTT release was announced: the film became available for streaming on Prime Video on 17 October in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages. 

Ahead of the film, Atharvaa addressed personal queries (including marriage rumours) and reaffirmed his focus on his career, especially his upcoming release Thanal.
